''The Last Judgement'' by: Karel Capek

Another short story based on the crimes and life of Kugler. A delinquent who died in a shooting with the police. But when we wakes up, he realizes he is in court with a judge, god, and other members of the jury deciding whether to sent him to heaven or hell. So throughout the story they discuss the life of Kugler. But at the end sadly, they send him to hell.

In my opinion the consequences for living a bad life are that simple. You eighter go to jail or die. In the ''Final Judgement'' I think they tooked the right decision. Even tho if I believe in karma, that doesn't stop the punishment for this criminal. Humans shouldn't be mean and inhumane to other humans, because we are all equal and if we are living in this world together, we got to make the best of it.

''First Confession'' by: Frank O' Connor

In this short Irish story a boy named Jackie, is about to confess but neither the boy nor the priest, know what to expect from one another. Since it's Jackie's first time, he goes to the temple really nervous. Even with guilt due to the fact, his little sister has been telling him all the bad stuff, he has done to her and their grandma. So Jackie tells the priest, all the bad stuff he has done but, in a exaggerated way. But at the end the priest knows that his just exaggerating since it's his first time.

I go to a Catholic church and we do confess there. But not in the strange, buzzard way they did in the story. The church I attend is like any other Catholic church. We attend mass, read the bible, and pray to the lord so amen.
